Inside The Yard, you'll find modern lanes, real axes, and digital scoring on real wood targets, all set in an energetic atmosphere built for great fun—whether you're here for date nights, birthday parties, or team building events.
AXE THROWING RESERVATIONS
Book ahead and lock in your arena. Axe throwing reservations are ideal during peak hours and weekends, especially for a larger group. A reservation guarantees your group their own arena for their reserved time slot for 90 minutes. When you are here for your reservation, your time is your own, but we typically facilitate a digitally scored tournament for your group, with a champion emerging at the end.
A reservation is $40 per person and requires a 10% deposit at booking. Groups of five or more will have a private arena, while groups of 1--4 people will be paired with other small groups for their reservation time in a fun, social setup.
Each reservation of 1--10 people guarantees your group one arena (2 targets). Each reservation of 11--20 people guarantees your group two arenas (4 targets), providing ample space for competitive play and friendly competition.

reservations
Experience a fun night out with your family and friends by reserving axe throwing arenas with our easy booking system. We accept online reservations for groups of 1--30 people. Reservations are $40 per person for a 90-minute time slot and include instruction and tournament-style play, all led by your very own dedicated Axe Master.
Groups of five or more receive a private arena for their reservation. Groups of 1--4 people may be paired with other small groups during their reservation time to create a fun, social experience. Each reservation of 1--10 people includes one arena with two targets, while reservations for 11--20 people include two arenas with four targets. Your Axe Master will guide gameplay, keep things running smoothly, and make sure everyone has a great time.
You will be able to order from our full service Axe Bar and enjoy food and drink (responsibly) at your lanes during your reservation or in the first come first serve lounge before and/or after. The menu is courtesy of our onsite Truck, The Corner Grill. If you have a larger group and prefer a family style, pre-ordered food package, you can add that your reservation during the booking process. Our Food Package options can be found HERE.

Check Out The Yard!The Yard at Corktown offers more than axe throwing. Guests can enjoy a full bar, food service, and lounge areas before or after their axe throwing session. Celebrate wins on the axe throne, grab food and drink, and keep the night going with friends.
Located on Michigan Ave, Detroit Axe Corktown is easily accessible from across the Metro Detroit area and is less than one mile from Michigan Central Station.
WALK-INS
Walk-ins are $25 per person for one hour of axe throwing and are available on a first come, first serve basis depending on availability. Walk in axe throwing guests may share axe lanes with up to 8 total people.
If lanes are full, guests can relax in the lounge area, enjoy food and drink from the bar, play board games, or hang out near the fire pits while waiting for the next available slot.
LeaguesAxe throwing leagues run throughout the year at Detroit Axe Corktown. Each league includes 7 weeks of match play, totaling 28 matches, followed by top 16 playoffs in week 8. Axe throwing leagues are open to all skill levels and are a great way to build axe throwing skills through consistent play.
League members receive $10 walk-in pricing, a free T-shirt, and access to throwing leagues designed to encourage improvement and friendly competition.
